Sarah and Duck

During summer 2023, I worked on a Theatre tour of Sarah and Duck's Big Top Birthday Party, a puppetry adaptation of the CBeebies cartoon.

I had a very important job as ASM puppeteer, organising the multitude of props and puppets throughout the show, making sure everything appeared in the right place as required. During the show I also served as an additional puppeteer when required.

Outside of the performances, I also was in charge of the set, during get in and outs, as well as set and puppet maintenance. I spent a lot of my time with a very fussy duck, who always demanded his beak looked just right!

My final job was as swing puppeteer, on a couple of occasions I filled in for the other puppeteers roles when they were unable to perform.
