I'm Josh Macrow, a puppeteer and puppet builder for the screen and stage.

In 2017, I established my own company, JJ Puppets. Under this mantle I create puppetry work for myself and for clients. In 2020, I graduated from the Royal Central School of Speech with a BA Hons Degree in Puppetry: Design and Performance.

My work covers producing as a filmmaker and theatre practitioner, meaning I have experience with many different aspects of production . Alongside performing, I also design, and fabricate many of my own puppets, props, and sets!

As a freelancer, I have had the opportunity to work on some amazing projects such as CBEEBIES: Dodges Pup School, AVALONS: Spitting Image, and Tom Fletchers: There's a Monster in Your Show.

Through my work, my aim is to thrust all my creative energy into every project to produce the highest standard of puppetry possible.
