In April 2019, I served as the technical assistant for Newcastle's puppet festival. I was responsible for assisting the theatre technicians to put on up to three puppetry shows a day, as well helping with other background tasks that make the festival function .

 

For the 2023 Festival, I was promoted to technical manager for one of our venues, helping to host all types of shows and events!

I always love working with moving parts, as it gives me a chance to flex my technical skills and experience the vibrant puppetry culture from across the UK and Europe.
