From November 2020 to May 2021 I worked with Made With Many on their Connecting Corby program to create an online puppetry course for households in Corby.

Through the project, I created five puppetry project packs, which were; cardboard puppets, foam puppets, shadow puppets, marionettes, and carved foam glove puppets. These were sent out to the participants and they followed along with either a pre-made video which I recored and edited each week, or joined me on a zoom workshop to make puppets with other budding puppeteers.

The course covered making and performing with a range of differing styles of puppetry, and the project attracted a diverse range of participants, from age 8 to 80!

For the final pack, we were able to meet socially distanced for a "puppetry picnic", to make glove puppets, learn how to use them, and enjoying being outside in the sunshine.
